Affiliate Marketing Is One of the quickest and easiest ways to start making money online. Basically you sign up to an affiliate program, and then get paid for promoting it.
The benefits are that you don't need your own product's. Nearly all the major players have affiliate program's. If you look at the bottom of the page when you visit their site you will often see an affiliate link This link will take you to their affiliate page's.
Credit Card companies, electrical store's, Insurance, loan,s, clothing, There are all manner of affiliate program's to promote. For online information products and downloadables the Biggest affiliate super market if you like is CLICKBANK.COM where you will find hundreds of products to promote.
There are right way's and wrong ways to go about affiliate marketing. You may have your own website that you would like to monetize by offering your visitors the chance to purchase something. But you don't have your own product or the infra structure to take online payments, deal with support issue's postage returns etc.
If this is your situation the you have little to lose and much to gain from affiliate marketing. You already have a site that's getting traffic your just adding a possible income stream or two.
But be warned don't turn your site into a mini super market, one or two appropriate products per page is the order of the day.
Pick your product's wisely buy them test them. Make sure they do what they say on the box, your just about to ask your visitor's to put their hands in their pocket. If they trust you enough to do that and you sell them junk you wont last long.
Your site will suffer perhaps even die. Also be careful that you don't change the focus of the site. OK so affiliate marketing could be right for you if you already have a site or blog that's getting traffic.
But what if you don't have your own place online that is already getting traffic, what if you just want to make money like the super Affiliates!
Stop right there! There are no super Affiliates that just go down to CLICKBANK.COM lets say pick a product out of thin air pop over to google AdWords, set up a paid advert and then site back and watch the money come in.
If it was that easy then there would be no need for CLICKBANK.COM to exist, the product owners would simply do it for themselves.
There are a number of reason that people fail as affiliate marketer's but the main one is ignorance, they don't have a clue as to what they are doing.
Super Affiliates all have their own system's in place, they understand how to play the game. They know thing's like how google can slap you because they hate duplicated page's. And what you can do about it so that google Love's you so much that they will rank you even higher than the original site.
They know that they need their own freebie bonus and their own squeeze page to capture the leads before just handing them over. And they know why it's important to do this.
If your thinking of becoming an affiliate or you are already promoting an affiliate program and your not sure what I'm talking about,Then I seriously doubt your be giving up your day job any time soon.
