Online Business
Its funny how people loss the plot when they try and make money on the internet,
they seem to think that somehow all they need to do is join some program and the money will just come flooding in,
and that they wont have to work at it, like the internet is some kind of magic place where normal business practices are not needed,
No one would expect to start a business off line and be successful with out putting in some work, yet hundreds thousands even do just that everyday online,
and of course few if any ever make any money ,infact most lose money, they skip from one program or product to the next, completly missing the fundamentals that determin the success of any business,
First you need a product or service that is needed or wanted, so you need to do a bit of research , this is called finding the hungry crowd, the product or service you decide on is what you will be feeding the hungry crowd,
you then need to display your service/program in a attractive manner, this is called presentation, good service is also essential dont forget your dealing with people make it enjoyable and easy to purchase from you, have some thought for customer services ,offer support, have a clear easy to follow user agreement in place ,and state your return policy ,this is called being user friendly and of course goes much further than is already mentioned,
so having all the above sorted you then need to expose your business to the hungery crowd , by advertising it, there are many ways to do this and i wont go into them now i'm sure you get the picture, there are of course other mundane matters that you will have to deal with like tax returns VAT deliverys stock control staff ect ect,
even with all this in place you still cant expect overnight success you need to be prepared to put in the time and effort not to mention funding the whole venture,
all the above would be classed as having a business plan
none of this would come as a supprise to anyone starting a business in the real world , so why do people think its any different online, success takes time effort and planning weather on or off line so wise up all you budding online entraprenures and make a business plan then give it time and work at it then and only then you might make some money |
